Sure thing! I wasn't meaning to badmouth the staff of brick and mortars--I'm sure there are many knowledgeable ones out there.
But one time as a new smoker I went to a place asking for an English blend, or at least something that had a good bit of Latakia. I'd never tasted Latakia, so when he handed me a few ounces of some really aromatic stuff, I asked him if he was sure it had Latakia and he said it certainly was. It was a decent aro, but I'm pretty sure it was repackaged Lane 1Q... no latakia to speak of.
